This is the first time that the Food Network will have ten of the world’s most celebrated super chef go to battle to become a member of the community’s culinary elite in eight Iron Chef episodes of the new season The Next Iron Chef: Super chef. Hosted by Alton Brown and was shot in Los Angeles, New York, the fourth season of the series amp commensurately with elevated skills competition experts. The ten contestants: Anne Burrell (secrets of a Restaurant Chef, worst cooks in America); Michael Chiarello (Bottega restaurant, Napa Valley, easy entertaining with Michael Chiarello), Elizabeth Falkner (citizen cake, San Francisco, Iron Chef America-challenger); Alex Guarnaschelli (butter, Darby, New York, Alex’s day off, chopped); Chuck Hughes (Garde Manger, Montreal, Chuck holidays); Robert Irvine (Robert Irvine eat!, Hilton Head Island, the restaurant Impossible); Beau MacMillan (Sanctuary on Camelback Mountain, Phoenix, Iron Chef America-challenger); Spike Mendelsohn (good Stuff eatery, Washington DC, Iron Chef America-challenger); Marcus Samuelsson (red Rooster Harlem, New York, 24-hour restaurant battle, chopped) and Geoffrey Zakarian (national, the Lamb’s Club, New York, 24-hour restaurant battle, chopped).
Each episode will feature the Chairman of the exhausting challenges and intense, new elements that will determine who goes home: secret ingredients Showdown, which pits the two chefs under the Pack against each other in a sudden death Cook-off with only one material. Winners at the end of the season will join Chef Bobby Flay, Marc Forgione, Masaharu Morimoto and Chairman of the Symon as a member of the team on Iron Chef America. The first battle was crowned the new Iron Chef in Kitchen Stadium will premiere on Sunday, December 25, 2011.
